Data & Account Deletion

Last updated 17 August 2026.

Deleting your account

From Settings, you can delete your account yourself, at any time. This removes your business profile and everything about it; every generated post, image, and campaign; your uploaded documents' extracted text and your questionnaire answers; everything Evolamate learned about your business from them; your connected social-account tokens; and your usage and cost history.

If any part of this can't be completed, deletion stops and tells you rather than reporting success that didn't happen — your account stays intact and you can safely try again.

Removing one thing without deleting your whole account

You don't have to delete your entire account to remove a single uploaded document or your questionnaire answers — do that from the Brand page. This stops Evolamate using that source for any new content immediately, and the wider understanding of your business is rebuilt without it before the next time content is generated for you. Posts already published are not rewritten — they are what was actually published.

What is kept, and for how long, even after you delete your account

We'd rather tell you plainly than let you assume everything simply vanishes.

What restoring a backup could mean

Because deleted accounts can still exist in an older backup, restoring that backup in a disaster-recovery scenario could, in principle, bring back an account you had deleted, until the retention gap above is closed.
